Stratford Perth Museum has just installed a new traveling exhibit from the Anne Frank Housein Amsterdam.
In conjunction with this exhibit and the Stratford Festival’s presentation of The Diary of Anne Frank, the Stratford Perth Museum is presenting a five-part Speaker Series. The speakers have been chosen carefully to augment the Anne Frank experience being presented this season in Stratford.

Fragments; Portraits of Holocaust Survivors by Photographer Jason Schwartz

In 2001, Toronto artist and photographer Jason Schwartz was commissioned by the Florida Holocaust Museum to photograph 112 Holocaust Survivors in a Jewish community in Southwest Florida. The exhibit at Gallery Stratford shows each subject photographed in black and white with a hand-written recount of their experiences of survival, love, loss and uncertainty. Heartbreaking, chilling and at times optimistic, these photographs, on the surface look like ordinary people. After reading about their experiences you will never forget them.
