Red Canoe was born in a Bush Plane. Canadian Dax Wilkinson founded Red Canoe in 1999 to commemorate Canada's proud aviation history with clothing inspired
by the deHavilland DHC-2 Beaver, and other Canadian icons and historical imagery from the CBC, RCAF, RCMP, CP Rail as well as American companies such
as Cessna, Boeing, Lockheed and NAA.
The print on this Red Canoe t-shirt is the CBC test pattern card that was used in the early days of black and white television in Canada. Red
Canoe's t-shirts are made to exacting specifications, both in terms of fit and quality. The 100% cotton shirts are washed after printing, a process
which eliminates shrinkage and offers a distinctive vintage aesthetic. Makes a perfect gift for the CBC and retro enthusiast.
